CD - BOREALES
Ánima was born as a journey, a journey into the unknown.
The band founded by Alberto Valverde (Tito), vocalist of the group, who already used this name when he made his own compositions, Ánima consolidated as a band in 2017 after overcoming many difficulties and the departure of members who did not want to continue touring.
Following the recent addition of Alonso Martín (keyboardist and backing vocals), the commitment of all members has been consolidated, with unlimited goals and objectives.
With Benja Pérez on drums, Diego (Wayne) on bass and Diego Martin on electric guitar, Ánima debuted at the Caserio de San José in 2017, exceeding all expectations, both on a personal level for the band and for the audience.
Already in 2018, Ánima released their first EP, "Inventos y Extraños," at one of Segovia's legendary venues, the Beat Club, becoming one of the last bands to play there.
Later that same year, in June, Ánima finished second in the Gigante Competition, among more than 500 bands. This result allowed the band to debut at a legendary national venue like Joy Eslava at the Gigante Festival launch party.
After a summer in which the band performed several concerts in the provinces of Burgos and Segovia, Ánima performed its final show at Café la Palma, confirming its position as one of the emerging bands in the country.
With "Boreales," their first studio album, they aim to continue showcasing their unique and undefined style throughout the country, while continuing to compose new songs and create new projects.
