Alma de Pato was born in Barcelona in 2009. Four friends with a playful musical spirit began an improvised story of sonic alchemy that gave rise to their Rumba Cariño. Since then, songs have begun to sprout, creating buzz and laughter in squares, bars, and stages. Meanwhile, new members have joined the band in parallel.

A handcrafted LP recorded live in a single studio session, which brings together some of the many songs that emerged during our long but loving genesis process. This 2019, once all the ingredients of the ten musicians who make up the project were combined, we finished our first album, recorded with care and dedication at Koryland Studio. CANDLE! Candela is energy, fire, light, and color. Recorded at Koryland Studios with care and dedication, under the production and mixing of Joan Surribas and Fernando "Dinky" Redondo, it's a project involving up to 10 musicians. With this album, our rumba cariño takes flight, consolidating its joyful, everyday, and playful sound. Twelve songs in a smiling, tropical key.
