La raíz del viento is an acoustic album by Juanito Makandé, recorded live and without clappers, with which he rediscovers his most intimate side just as he celebrates twenty years of career. "A very special album," Juanito acknowledges, "which I recorded with the maestros Josep Pou on piano and Toni Cuenca on double bass, live, without clappers, with three string instruments, searching for the natural pulse of the songs. My fans had been asking me for a long time for an album like this, with acoustic songs, stripped down, without so many instruments."
