Space Surimi - Starfish Troopers CD

Space Surimi is the union of McEddie Coopermen and producer Carlboro. Their world is filled with visual imagery, referencing the internet and digital consumerism, from video games and their virtual environments to the products that defined their generation. They produce fresh and irreverent rap that's hard to pigeonhole; a collection of touches on street culture and the most underground sounds that encompasses everything from the most primitive electro to Gfunk, disco, and Miami Bass, all cooked up in their headquarters in Jerez de la Frontera. Fans of the genre probably don't recognize them yet, a logical consequence of their nascent and unprejudiced nature. They are part of the new and diverse generation of urban music that has been developing in Andalusia for years, and they formulate a proposal that reeks of old school and maintains its own identity. Space Surimi began taking its first steps in 2012 with their first track, "Shake Your Bacon," which has been followed by at least twenty more.
