Gerard Martín is a 24-year-old pop/rock composer, singer, and guitarist born in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona). After having been part of bands such as The Fish Memory Band, The Blues Boys, Muy Stone, and Marionetas, in 2016 he decided to embark on his solo career and self-release his first EP called "Aire de Mercurio" with the production company Marlee Records. In 2019, he released his first single entitled "Cuando Todo Empezó a Arder" (When Everything Started to Arder ), accompanied by a video clip shot in Barcelona. Just a few months after its release, it has already surpassed 27,000 views. For the past few weeks, Gerard Martín has been presenting his first LP album, "Luces de Ciudad" (City Lights) (produced by Gerard Giner of "Èxta6"), available on all digital platforms. 'Luciérnagas' is his new single and the perfect combination for the release of the album that will be accompanied by a tour that will take him to cities such as Barcelona, Tarragona, Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia, among others... This album features José "Niño" Bruno on drums, George Five on bass and he has also collaborated with Lucas Masciano on "Luces de Ciudad" and Èxta6 on "Qué Más Da".
Martín 's live performance is characterized by an intense, sincere, and connected show. Whether with guitar and vocals or with a full band, he not only strives to capture the album in an acoustic live format, but also to adapt the songs' meaning to the stage and create a whole world around them.
