JULIÁN SANZ - Parasongs and Other Poems (Book)

The live performances of the book "Paracanciones y otros poemas" are shows in which poetry manifests itself in some of its most diverse forms. They begin with a few verses recited in a traditional manner, and evolve performatively at each stage, moving from spoken word to polypoetry, and from dramatized reading to sound, video, or visual poetry. They are always different, and each one is designed based on the venue, selecting the repertoire and adapting the stage design to take advantage of the special characteristics of each location.

Seeking interaction with other artists, some guests can collaborate on stage; any discipline is possible. The poetry recital becomes a full-fledged concert that can range from the most delicate to the most radical. The doors are open to whatever may happen...
