MARIA RODÉS

Maria Rodés (Barcelona, ​​May 20, 1986) is a Spanish singer-songwriter with a soft, sweet voice and a style that blends singer-songwriter experience with compositional and sonic experimentation. With a prolific body of work, she has released several solo works and one under the stage name Oníric. Her artistic activity extends beyond her albums, encompassing literature with the book Duermevela (2015), and collaborating as a singer on albums and live performances for other musical projects such as Nacho Vegas, Refree, Anímic, Jorge Drexler, Espaldamaceta, Coque Malla, and José Domingo. She has also participated as a composer in the tributes Ojos de mil años to Miguel Hernández and Cançons de la veritat oculta to Pere Calders. In 2016, his research on his ancestor, the astronomer Lluís Rodés, earned him the Puig-Porret Prize, enabling the publication of his album and stage show Eclíptica in 2018.
