MARINA ROSSELL

Marina Rossell, in this new album, 300 crits, follows the old natural route, advancing in the search for the songs of resistance. Who songs does França create after the occupation? I es troba amb “Sous le ciel de Paris” (Loose the Paris cell), “Avec le temps” (The temps is going) by Léo Ferrer, “J'attendrai” (I'll wait for you), “Je ne regrette rien” (I'm not penised by beef), by Edith Piaf… Songs that necessitat de surviure als temps maleïts, songs that are always common, and that have accompanied generations.
But the Navy does not abandon the fact that it is more personal, more intimate: the creative. And on this disc, the vint-i-cinquè de la seva trajectòria, hi trobem temes quasi confessionals com “Guardo el dubte” or “Morir d'un llamp”. Or the song that gives the title to this song, “300 crits”, which signals the crits nascuts of all human emotions: crits of joy, of despair, endless crits that, sometimes, cross nature.
