DOBLE ESFERA
CD - 21st Century Hard Rock
Regular price
9.00 €
"Rock Duro del Siglo XXI" was Doble Esfera's third album and is a true statement of purpose. A five-song EP released in October 2016, it was accompanied by the band's first national tour.
The album continued the evolutionary path of its predecessor, "El Baile de los Necios," but took a step further to establish its unique sound and style, combining rock and metal in an increasingly direct, powerful, and personal way, without neglecting melody and instrumental developments.
The album revolves around the state of hard rock in the 21st century, serving as a cry of hope to revitalize the style and assert that there's still room for hard rock sung in Spanish in this century. The five tracks address all of this: its discrimination on radio and television, the hardships endured on the road, the difficulty of every songwriting process, the renewal the style needs... the construction of a new hard rock, the HARD ROCK OF THE 21ST CENTURY. Let's start a Rebellion to reimpose its law.
Line-up: Eladio Ruipérez: vocals; Antonio Elzaurdia “Ziurdi”: guitar; “Willy” Medina: drums; Pedro “Loko” Martínez: bass.
