Maria Rodés - Lilith CD

Maria Rodés draws inspiration from the world of witches on her new album, Lilith, paying a small tribute to all those free women who have dared to show their intelligence, curiosity, creativity, and nonconformity, even though many ended up at the stake as a result. The album takes its name from the feminine spirit of darkness, Lilith, Adam's first wife, who abandoned Eden and her husband for refusing to submit to him and ended up in the Red Sea, where she allied herself with the devil. Like a witch searching for her origins, Maria embarks on a journey between myth and reality to create nine songs that, like spells, transport us to the author's magical universe: Recorded at Ophiura Studio (Premià de Mar) and produced by Joel Condal and Maria Rodés, Lilith features arrangements by the band that accompanies her live: Isabelle Laudenbach (guitar), Marta Roma (cello), Marina Tomás (electric guitar) and Pep Pascual (clarinet and percussion).
